commercial licenses

Our licensing model is designed to be simple and up front. Commercial licenses are split into three tiers, based on the number of agents that can be controlled by the Pulse server. All commercial licenses entitle you to:

  • A single Pulse server: with an unlimited number of projects and users.
  • Free upgrades: for the first year.
  • Priority email support: for the first year.
  • Free maintenance upgrades: for the life of that major.minor version.
The three license tiers differ only in the number of agents that may be configured on the Pulse server:
  • Standard: a single master server with at most one agent.
  • Professional: a single master server with up to 5 agents.
  • Enterprise: a single master server with up to 15 agents.
If you intend to use multiple Pulse master servers, you will need to purchase a license for each individual master.

If you require more than 15 agents, Enterprise licenses may be extended with 10-agent packs. Please see the pricing, or contact sales for more information.

You can buy Pulse commercial licenses online via our buy now page. Payments are processed securely via PayPal, which accepts major credit cards (or you can pay with a PayPal account).

We also accept payments by other methods. To request a formal quote, or for more information on available payment methods, please contact sales.

We also offer ongoing support contracts to extend beyond the first year after purchase. Support contracts entitle you to:

  • Free upgrades: across all versions for the life of the contract.
  • Priority email support: for the life of the contract.
When you extend your support contract, the new expiry date will be one year after your existing contract's expiry date (regardless of when you make the extension).

Support contract extensions cost 50% of the server license price. For example, to extend the contract for a regular Professional license the cost is 50% of $2500 USD, i.e. $1250 USD.

Note: Customers located in Australia must add 10% to the listed price to account for GST.

You can renew your license online on our support renewal page. Customers with customised licenses (e.g. those that have agent packs added), or special payment requirements, please contact sales for a custom renewal quote.

adding agents to existing licenses

If you are a current customer with a valid support contract, and you need more agents, you can extend your existing license. Standard and Professional licenses may be converted to a higher tier by paying the difference in prices between the tiers. For example, to upgrade from Professional to Enterprise would cost $5500 USD - $2500 USD, i.e. $3000 USD.

Enterprise licenses may be extended by 10 agents at a time using Extra Enterprise Agent packs.

In all cases, when adding agents to an existing license:

  • Support for your current license must be active. If your support has lapsed you may renew it to allow you to add agents.
  • The support expiry date of your license remains unchanged.
